This simple-to-install MantelMount add-on accessory allows you to integrate seamlessly into a custom-built wall opening. Easily fitting between standard or custom stud configurations, The RB100 Recess Box provides a super flush TV-to-wall storage by allowing the MantelMount center arm to fold into the wall when the TV is in the raised position. The result is concealed mounting hardware and a 1.8 inch flush-to-wall TV storage!(For Mount Models MM340, MM540, MM700 and MM815).

NOTE 1: If recessing the MM340 or MM540 with the RB100 Recess Box, you will also need to purchase the SSB40 Adapter in order to connect the mount to the recess box with a compatible bolt configuration pattern. The MM700 and MM815 integrates directly with the RB100 and does not need the SSB40 Adapter.
NOTE 2: If your wall has a wider than average stud placement, the RBE10 Recess Box Extenders accessory can be used with the RB100 Recess Box to reach studs up to 34 inches apart.
NOTE 3: A 65"+ TV screen should entirely conceal the recess box when in the raised position. For TV's smaller than 65", you may see a portion of the recess box when the TV is raised.

- Hello Customer Support, I purchased both the RB100 recess box to use with my MM815 motorized mount. I cannot locate any information in your PDF's regarding installation height of the box for the MM815 (distance from top of mantel to lower box opening). We are hoping to install a mantel with a 10" depth, but it could also be 9" or maybe even 12". Could some tell me the installation height (above mantel) of the RB100 recess box for these three possible mantel depths? FYI: I did read the following (not sure if these are the latest): - the RB-100 Installation Instructions - Addendum.pdf, - the MM815 Motorized Drop Down TV Mount Installation Instructions.pdf. - and I did locate a MM815_Dimensions_Diagram_with_RB100_02-24.jpg document but it also does not list the distance from mantel to opening info. Last question I am going to install a LG OLED55G5WUA (300mmx200mm) or a OLED65G5WUA (VESA 300mmx300mm). Probably will add a LG sound bar below TV on MM815 mount. Is there anything I should be concerned with with either of these TV's, using the MM815 and the installation mentioned above? If I could get an answer asap, I have to meet with my builder on Monday or Tuesday next week tp give them the installation outline. - I’m planning on mounting an 85 inch frame pro above a stone fireplace in a new construction. I have an 8 inch mantle. I am having trouble figuring out how high the bottom of the RB 100 needs to be above the mantle. From what I can tell somewhere from 6.5 to 9.5 inches depending on where the vertical braces attach to the TV but I don’t have any way of knowing this as I don’t have the TV

- I am installing the RB100 above a gas fireplace new construction . The fireplace will be covered in stone . Do the horizontal braces go into the studs first and is stone laid on top of them OR , is the lip of the RB100 flush with the stone and the horizontal braces are bolted into the stone ?

- Hello, I would not be able to answer this question completely. The lowest the TV will likely sit above the mantel is 7". As far as how high above the mantel you will need to make the cut out, is dependent on how high the you mount the vertical braces on the back of the TV. - I have a mm700 mount with recess box and I’m mounting a Samsung 77in tv with a Sonos beam sound bar that is 3 inches. The mantle depth is 6 inches. Would 8 inches above mantle be enough to hide the box and clear mantle.
