My sound bar has mounting holes along the bottom, I watched the mounting video and it looks like this kit only accommodates sound bars with mounting holes on the back. Is this correct?

However, your soundbar should come with a wall plate kit which can be mounted to the standard MM540 soundbar attachment and then your soundbar can be attached to the wall mount kit. Another option would be to purchase our SBK00 soundbar accessory which accommodates most soundbars with mounting holes located at the bottom. Does mount come with any mounting hardware like lag bolts and anchors for mounting to a brick fireplace? If not, is there a preferred hardware for mounting to a brick fireplace?

Hello, The MantelMount comes with lag bolts that can be mounted to wood studs. We do not provide anchors for brick as there are different types of brick. While I cannot specifically recommend anchors for your brick type, commonly used anchors for various styles of structural brick would be concrete anchors (tap cons), metal sleeved anchors, etc... -MantelMount Team-

Is your TV mount also able to lift the tv, rather than drop vertically? Or is there a way to mount upside down? I have a top floor apartment, with slanted ceilings. I wanted to mount low and be able to pull out and lift! Or is there another product that would accomplish this purpose?

I am looking for a solution for my 77 inch TV that weighs about 52 pounds. If the wall above my mantle does not have any 2x4s to drill into, and there is drywall only which then has the brick chimney about 2-3 inches behind it, would this work? Hello, The required clearance would be from where the front of the wall, to the front of the mantel. The MM540 will only clear a maximum of 18". If your soundbar has mounting holes on the back, it should be compatible with the mounts mentioned as they have their own soundbar attachment.
