Reviews

Great Versatile TV Mount - Highly Recommended

"We recently had a MantelMount TV mount installed in our home in Tradition, Florida, and we couldn’t be happier with it. It works extremely well and gives us great versatility when watching TV from different areas and perspectives in the room. Being able to adjust the TV makes a big difference, especially in an outdoor living space like ours. The installation was straightforward, and we were especially impressed with MantelMount’s customer support. They were very helpful in answering our questions and making sure we selected the right model for our TV and setup. The mount feels solid, looks great, and works exactly as we hoped. We would definitely recommend MantelMount to anyone looking for a high-quality, versatile TV mounting solution!"

Very Happy - Great Mount

"Ran across this company when looking for a mount after a home reno. Relatively high mantle was begging for this. Great product, easy to follow instructions, well built and easy to use."

— Ryan C. (5/5)

New Patio

"Love the functionality and the strength of this mount. I also purchased a sound bar mount but found this mount had everything I needed to mount my sound bar."

— Todd S. (5/5)

MM700 with Recessed Box - Perfect!

"Install went as smooth as can be - great install instructions. Having the ability to leave the TV above while not using it is so convenient. The up/down mechanism is flawless."

— Pottenger, J. (5/5)

Great

"We wanted to pull the TV really low for watching and put it back above the fireplace when not in use. MM700 fits well for this purpose. Its frame is wide enough that we were able to screw it to three studs (not necessary, but nice for extra stability). The pull tension is well adjustable."

— ANNA K. (5/5)

Excellent install instructions

"Thought my stacked stone fireplace mounting would be way tougher than it was. Videos and online help saved me >$500 the pro installer quoted me."

— Edward E. (5/5)

Awesome product!

"Very happy with the Mantel Mount, works perfect with my 77 inch TV, easy to lift to stow and to pull down for use."

— Eduardo N. (5/5)

Heavy duty mount

"Works well for my 77in LG G5 and a brick of a Samsung Sound bar. No issues with weight, just wish it went down a little further but that's mainly an issue with my fireplace"

— Cody J. (5/5)

Coolest Thing Yet

"This mount allowed me to mount a tv that was was too big in an area that’s way too small that puts the tv way too high! When fully lowered the tv is at perfect viewing level. When retracted it’s tucked away and looks great. Love it."

— David M. (5/5)

MM700 Premier Pull Down

"The mantelmount works exactly as advertised. It looks and works great! Well worth the price. Terrance, our installer, did a wonderful job with assembly, install, adding a plug, and hiding wires. We have the MM700 Premier mounted over the mantel. The manual pull down works smoothly and blends in well."

— Cumuze, T. (5/5)

Q&A

Two questions: 1) Is this mount compatible with Samsung The Frame 65"? 2) Am I able use this over a highly textured stone over the fireplace?
Hello, Yes the MM700 is compatible with the Samsung Frame. Is the textured stone real stone (structural) or is it veneer? If it's structural stone you can install the mount but you will need proper anchors. If the stone is not structural, you will need to find the studs that are behind the veneer/facade. -MantelMount Team-
Can I use mount MM700 with a curved screen? TV model number UN55TUB300F
Yes you can!
Currently have MM540 installed into a recessed box. Upgrading TV to a 83in Samsung. Can I install the MM700 in to the same installed recessed box?
Yes the MM700 will work with the RB100 without issue. -MantelMount Team-
I have this mount installed over a fireplace. If the mount is in a down position does turning the fireplace on automatically raise it back up to against the wall? Or do I need to decrease the resistance?
Hello Vish, We do not recommend using the fire place when the MantelMount is in the down position. You will need to manually move the mount back into the up position. -MantelMount Team-
Is there a video on how to install this mount inside your 100 recess box? I can’t find any online.
Hello, Currently, we do not have an RB100 installation video.
My TV is under 115 lb but is bigger than 90in. 98in to be exact. The VESA mount fits the mount, so my question is can the mount still be used to support the bigger tv
Hello, Currently, the MM700 will only hold up to a 90" screen TV. Our MM750 pro series mount will hold up to 100" and will accommodate your TV without issue. https://mantelmountpro.com/collections/professional-series-mounts/products/mm750-pro-pull-down-tv-mount -MantelMount Team-
Does the weight limit of 115 lbs. include the weight of the sound bar? For example, I am considering an 85" TV that weighs 109 lbs., would I need to limit the weight of the soundbar to 6 lbs. or less?
Hello, Yes the weight limit of the MantelMount is the gross combined weight of the TV and soundbar. -MantelMount Team-
Can the soundbar be placed above the TV?
Hello, Yes it can, but you will need to use our SBXL above the TV soundbar attachment or a universal soundbar attachment. https://www.mantelmount.com/products/sound-bar-adapter-xl https://www.amazon.com/Mounting-Dream-MD5420-Universal-Detachable/dp/B01DW1XOCY/ref=?th=1 -MantelMount Team-
Can you add the motorized action later on to the 700 if you want?
Hello, Currently, you would have to purchase a new mount if you wanted the motorized version, which would be the MM815. -MantelMount Team-
Hi. I have a Sonos arc I will be using with my new Sony 75" TV. Is the Sonos compatible with the MM700, and will it look nice? I also want to purchase an RB100 Recess kit. Please let me know your thoughts and if you have any suggestions for optimizing this particular set up.
Hello, The Sonos Arc is compatible with the MM700 and should look just fine. The instructions that we provide for installation is all based on full optimization in mind. -MantelMount Team-
